It's still officially winter, with spring still a couple of weeks away. This morning it's 28 or 30 degrees outside depending on which thermometer is viewed. Forecast to be even colder over next 2 days. We will see what happens to the blueberry blossoms.
However, this cold is just temporary as an arctic front sweeps across the country. Last Saturday the weather was calm and warm, in the mid 70's, so I tried out the new herbicide sprayer we got for the Gator. It worked terrifically. No leaks, good pressure, convenient access to controls. The east and west bahia fields had become overrun with enormous thistle weeds that I spot sprayed with a broadleaf herbicide containing triclopyr. I am anxious to see how well it did. There are a several concentration rates that can be applied.
