Ewe Flock on 60-Acres

The ewes are not inclined to go exploring on their own very much.   A couple of days ago Jackie and I moved the big ewe flock onto the 60-acres, they went in a bit, excited about the new area, but when I came back later to check on them, they were at the edge next to the lone pine field that they had previously eaten to nubs. A dozen or so had dove under the string fence into the lone pine field and in trying to get them back, all of them charged through.

Finally this morning I got them to follow me deep into the 60-acres and they seemto be satisfied with the available scrub.  I sometimes think they are kind of lazy, they have to expect to work somewhat anddo some foraging.

Kratos is staying with them.
